Dreaming of Spring With a Bed and Bath Refresh

Hey guys, it’s Anissa here. I have an amazing team helping with the blog, but I’m trying to make a point to hop on here every once in a while and share little pieces of my heart, projects, and inspiration with you all.

The days of sleeping in and enjoying a slow morning are long gone for me and my busy family. Between managing design projects and the Shoppe, running my kids to and from activities, and hopefully squeezing in a workout most days, I am on a pretty tight schedule when it comes to sleep and rest.

One of my biggest pet peeves about design is when a space feels stark, like you can’t touch anything or actually curl up and read a book on the sofa. When it comes to my bed especially, I’m always on the lookout for bedding that is homey and makes my bed feel lived in.

Today I’m so excited to share a little peak at the linen refresh I did this past week. I recently ordered a box full of goodies from The Company Store including new bedding for our bed and a fresh set of towels.

I’ve been getting our bedding from The Company Store for a long time and I’ve been so impressed with the quality that I keep coming back. Everything is made of incredible quality and there are so many style and color options to choose from. Things ship quickly and I’m always eager to check out their new arrivals.

For our bed I ordered from the Relaxed Linen Collection to achieve that homey look I was going for and I can’t rave enough about how snug and comfy they are. For towels, I went with the Sterling Suprima Bath Collection. Anyways, here’s a peak at all my new finds!

I was most most excited about the Relaxed Linen Duvet Cover I ordered. I don’t know if any of you have this problem, but I’ve always had such a hard time finding quality duvet covers. The last few I’ve had tear or look dingy after a short time and I haven’t been able to find a good replacement until now. This one is so soft and is made of the most quality linen. It feels so durable, but also lived in, which is the exact combo I look for in bedding.

For my sheet set, I went with the Relaxed Linen set as well, I always love white sheets because they go with everything. Between my kids and pets crawling into bed with me, white sheets are so easy to keep clean because you can bleach them if they do get dirty. These ones are so soft and feel so luxurious, but casual.

For pillows, I wanted a little pop of color rather than having all white bedding. I went with the Shale color for two of my pillows and white for the other two. I love the warmth of the Shale ones bring out. They also pair really nicely with the rug I have in the bedroom right now. Double win.

I don’t know about anyone else, but getting a fresh set of towels feels like such a luxury! I picked up two sets from this collection and they’re perfect for everyday use! It seems like I never deviate from white towels or linens…there’s just something about them!

It’s still mid-winter here in Indiana, but I’m channeling spring starting with this little refresh. I dream about the days I can open my windows and hunt for fresh greens, but for now, you can find me curling up in bed, getting the best sleep I’ve gotten in a long time.
