Troy Lighting and New Exterior Lights

We have been slowly working on the exterior of our home while we work on the interior. Needless to say, we are tired! The house is cedar shake from the 1940’s and I love it. We painted it a dark charcoal with black trim and a very light grey door and shutters. We need exterior lighting that would stand out on the dark house and so I was on the hunt for something large and unique.

I first laid eyes on the vintage brass Atwater Vintage Sconce by Troy Lighting in the Hudson Valley Lighting Group showroom last year and I immediately fell in love with them. I knew that were exactly the statement lighting that I was searching for. They would be perfect for our home! I would really like to add trim around the front door eventually and a little wood awning but until then I felt like we needed something a bit larger in scale to fill the empty space there. It never felt right to me when we had smaller sconces there. The Atwater Vintage Sconces are so cool and we get so many compliments on them. These are the 24″ but they also come in 18″ and 26″.

I’m so happy with how they turned out and I’m always so happy with the lighting selections from Hudson Valley Lighting Group. They really make shopping for lighting an ease with the amount of options they carry for any of my lighting needs. We also use Hudson Valley Lighting Group for all of our clients lighting needs and the customer service is always above and beyond anything we’ve experienced with other companies. That alone keeps me coming back time after time!
