Today I’m chatting about something I’m honored to be a part of, alongside some of the most talented designers around the globe. If you’re at all familiar with the design world, you may have seen the hype over the past week about The Expert, a new design consultation platform. In case you missed it, let me spend some time today catching you up to speed.

With the increase of people staying in, working from home, and staring at their homes all day long, the interior design business is booming. It seems as though everyone is wanting to start their remodels, add on home offices, or swap out furniture and art on the walls.

When it comes to design, there’s a pretty big range of services you can typically choose from. That can often be pretty overwhelming. This is where the Expert comes in.

The Expert is a newly launched website, connecting you to the top designers across the world through 1 on 1 Zoom consultations. If you are in need or interested in design services and aren’t quite sure where to start, booking a consultation through The Expert, may be a perfect place.

In fact, The Expert is a good starting block for almost anyone. Maybe you love our work, but want to determine if we are a good fit for you before booking more services. Maybe you don't know what services you need or maybe you just have a few questions and need an expert opinion but don’t need the full array of services. Additionally, maybe you’re an interior designer yourself looking for a second opinion, process advice, or guidance in the industry - The Expert is for you too.

You’re probably wondering how this all works. One of the best things about The Expert is that it’s pretty simple. You can find me and other incredible designers on their website here. Choose your 55 minute time slot based on the designer’s availability and checkout on the website. You’ll receive an email with a Zoom link and you’ll meet with your designer at the selected meeting time. It’s that easy.
