Our Outside Dining with Sunbrella

We moved into our new home last year right at the end of summer and so we didn’t really have the opportunity to use our new outdoor space as much as we wanted. I knew that this year I wanted to be ready for outdoor dining and late night hangouts with our friends so I starting researching furniture for this space.

After a lot of thought around the right pieces for this area, I decided on tables and chairs from William Sonoma Home. The quality was what I was looking for because after moving several times over the past years, I have realized that replacing outdoor furniture every few years isn’t fun. I wanted it to beautiful and hold up in the midwest elements.

I loved the woven texture of the William Sonoma chairs and the fact that the seat cushions are made from Sunbrella fabric. This fabric has been a life saver and a stress saver for me. The cushions are so comfortable and easy to clean, especially with my cats who like to sit on them all day and relax in the shade of the outdoor umbrella from Pottery Barn, made with Sunbrella fabric.

We have been enjoying this outdoor space so much this summer and I am so happy that I don’t have to constantly clean the cushions on the chairs, because they are made from Sunbrella. The fabric won’t fade and do not need to be covered if it rains. The Midwest weather is no worries here!

If you are considering outdoor furniture that is stress free, then cushions made with Sunbrella fabric are the way to go in my opinion. They are even rather soft and comfortable and I love how cozy they make the space feel.

We eat almost all our meals alfresco in the summer and that means lots of spills can occur. We’ve hosted lots of dinners since we received our furniture, and I haven’t had to wash the cushions yet! So far all I’ve needed is a damp cloth for larger spills or it’s as easy to brush off the cushions since Sunbrella is resistant to most messes.

I’m just so happy with how this space turned out and even though I know we have plans to remodel this outdoor space in the future, at least I know I won’t be spending any more of my budget on replacing soiled cushions and furniture.
